Finals are done. I'm back.
So the past few months have been really busy for me. The D&D campaign that I was writing about (which was on hiatus) actually started back up, so I've been focusing more on writing up campaign content rather than writing the narrative of what we've already done. Finals were a real pain this semester, but I'm pretty sure I've made it back in one piece. I hope that all 3 or 4 of you people out there who watch my stuff like what's coming up. So allow me to put this into perspective. I run a D&D session with my close circle of friends. We really wanted to try something new, so we started a campaign in 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. I had been part of only one campaign before, and I was only part of it for a few months. I really loved the game, but I always thought how much I'd love to run one myself. I haven't much experience with D&D or that much with RP games for that matter, but my friends loved the idea. One night we all happened to be in the same place at the same time. I went to a funeral. For a one year old girl.
It is an unsettling feeling to know that you'll be going to a funeral.
The day after Christmas, Alyson and found out that we would be going to a funeral.
The funeral was for a one year old girl. We had just gone to her first birthday a month ago.
Baby Lillie managed to get into a bottle of sleeping pills.
Her mother was playing with her one moment and then her heart just stopped.
I can't imagine the how devastated the mother is.
I don't think I've been in a more uncomfortable place before.
Please, if you have small children around your house, remember to lock up things like medications or sleeping pills.
